Malta Carib’s signing with Dwayne Bravo

Photos

Date 22nd Jul 2014   Comments No Comments »

Address by Cindy Lutchman, Marketing Manager- Soft Drink Division

“Malta Carib has been part of the Trinidad and Tobago landscape since 1973, with most of our consumers today fondly recalling their first taste of Malta Carib as a child at a house party, Christmas time, or relaxing at home with daddy and getting a taste of the Malta Carib he was drinking. One of our local gems, Malta Carib is a staple in many homes…a must have for family gatherings. Our consumers carry us warmly in their hearts and have remained loyal over the years, loving the rich and consistent Malta Carib taste since they were “small”. Over the years the brand has gone through transformations and shared the spotlight with local stars such as Dwight Yorke and Fay Anne Lyons, both successful role models in their fields. When we look for a pokesperson for Malta Carib, we look for someone with a positive
influence; someone who portrays confidence, who stands for success, someone of quality who consistently delivers high performance, and someone who represents Trinidad and Tobago well. Research Dwayne Bravo and you come across a long list of statistics, indicative of a successful man in his cricketing Career. What it doesn’t tell us is the man behind the bat and ball. Who is he? What does he stand for? We have a STAR performer in the local and international cricketing world, who proudly carries our country wherever he goes, but what stands out, is his sense of self, and doing what he feels is right for Dwayne…not following the crowd but yet still being part of the crowd on his own terms.”

Look at people! That’s the first thing that came to mind even outside the venue as we braved the swiftly moving line and entered the Oval. So much fun, we saw a lil bit of everything: the sweaty, the tame, the drunk, the posers, the winers, and every single corner you look, the women! Live performances only added to the vibe, we had a good night!
