Following last week’s signing of a MOU on Health between UK and Trinidad & Tobago, the British High Commission facilitated a UK Trade Mission focusing on the Health sector. The ribbon cutting ceremony with British High Commissioner Arthur Snell and the Minister of Health took place on Tuesday 5th November 2013, at the Scarlet Ibis Room, Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre. The objectives of the health trade mission were:
To facilitate introductions between T&T and UK firms.
To share expertise/best practice and knowledge in the healthcare sector.
To promote and deepen long-term cooperation between both countries.
To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and skills between both.
